The Fine Print

Returns, Shipping, pre-orders, and all the stuff you should probably read before checking out.

Returns & Exchanges:

Shop credit only.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 48 hours of delivery.

To start a return or exchange, please email us with your order number within that 48-hour window.

Fourties & 9s will provide a return shipping label.  The cost of the return label, along with any original shipping charges, will be deducted from the amount of shop credit issued.

Returns must be shipped within 3 business days of the return label being provided.

Items must be returned in original, unworn, unwashed condition with tags attached, if applicable.

Once your return has been received, please allow up to 3 business days for your shop credit to be issued.

Damaged or Incorrect Items:

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.

 If the item is confirmed to be damaged or incorrect, Fourties & 9s will provide a prepaid return shipping label. You will not be responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged or incorrect items must be shipped back within 3 business days of the return label being provided.

Items not shipped within that timeframe may no longer be eligible for a refund.

Once the item has been received back, please allow up to 3 business days for your refund to be processed.

Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as shop credit.

Because many items may be limited-run or preorder-based, replacements are not guaranteed and refunds will generally be issued instead of replacements.

Shipping:

Ready-to-ship (RTS) orders are processed within 5-10 business days.

Pre-orders are usually processed within 20 business days.  

Please read the description of EVERY product before purchasing.

Product descriptions will include important information regarding preorder timelines, estimated arrival dates, sizing, and other item-specific details. 

If an order contains multiple preorder items with different estimated arrival dates, the entire order will ship once all items have arrived. 

If RTS and preorder items are purchased together in the same order, the RTS items will be held and the entire order will ship together once all preorder items are ready. 


We do not combine separate orders for shipping. Each order will be processed and shipped individually.

Processing time refers to the time it takes Fourties & 9s to prepare your order for shipment and does not include carrier transit time.

Once your package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times may vary and are outside of our control.


Preorder updates, shipping delays, and other order-related announcements will be posted in The Inner Circle.

Pre-Orders:

Preorder items are purchased before they are in stock and will have an estimated processing or arrival timeframe listed in the individual product description.

Please read the description of EVERY preorder item before purchasing. MOST PRE-ORDERS HAVE A 20 BUSINESS DAY TURN AROUND.   Most pre-order items have an estimated 8-15 business day supplier turn around, plus transit time to us and final processing before your order ships.  Some items may arrive sooner, and some holiday or special-order items may take the full turnaround window.

Estimated arrival dates are estimates — not a blood oath. Preorder timelines can change due to vendor production, shipping delays, customs, or other circumstances outside of Fourties & 9s’ control.

If your order contains multiple preorder items with different estimated arrival dates, the entire order will be held and shipped once all items in that order have arrived.

If preorder items are purchased in the same order as ready-to-ship (RTS) items, the RTS items will also be held and the entire order will ship together once everything is ready.

Any preorder updates or delays will be posted in The Inner Circle.

Because preorder items are ordered specifically based on customer purchases, preorders cannot be canceled.

Once received and shipped by Fourties & 9s, preorder items will follow our standard Returns + Exchanges policy.

Local Pickup:

Local pickup is available for eligible orders at checkout.

You’ll receive a notification once your order is ready for pickup.

Please do not arrive before receiving that notification, as your order may still be processing.

Pickup orders will be placed in the designated pickup bin and will be available between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. 

For orders containing preorder items, multiple preorders with different arrival dates, or a mix of preorder and RTS items, pickup will not be available until the entire order is ready.

Please pick up your order within 7 days of receiving your ready-for-pickup notification.

 If your order has not been picked up within 7 days, you must contact Fourties & 9s to make additional arrangements for pickup or shipping. Please do not arrive for pickup without confirming those arrangements first.

Any additional shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

 Orders that have not been picked up or otherwise arranged within 14 business days of the ready-for-pickup notification will be considered abandoned.

The order will be canceled, no refund will be issued, and the items may be made available for resale through The Inner Circle.

Order Changes and Cancellations:

Order changes, including size or color changes, may be requested within 24 hours of placing your order.

 If the preorder window closes before that 24-hour period has passed, or if the order has already been submitted to the vendor, changes can no longer be made.

All change requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Cancellations are not permitted. Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled.
